Mentoring philosophy

Our motto is: embracing difference to make a difference. We warmly encourage applications from underrepresented groups and welcome all curious minds eager to explore the boundless possibilities of quantum science.

Inheriting my postdoctoral mentor ZX Shen's mentoring philosophy, my top priority is to support each lab member, ensuring they feel empowered, well-equipped, and happy in their pursuits. Open communication is at the core of our lab culture, and I deeply value the joy that comes from conducting research in a positive, inclusive, and supportive environment. While I continue to grow as a PI and recognize I have much to learn, my hope is that your time here will be both rewarding and fulfilling.

In the shared resources tab, you will find a collection of insights and lessons I wish I had known at the start of my academic journey. I hope these prove helpful to you as you navigate your own path.
